Eola Road Branch

Meeting Room 108 (Small Meeting Room)

This beginner coding club will introduce participants to a variety of computer programs designed to teach programming basics to young people. The session is self-directed for independent exploration.

By developing coding skills at a young age, children are equipped to succeed in an increasingly digital culture as creators, entrepreneurs, artists, and builders. This beginner coding club will introduce participants to a variety of computer programs designed to teach coding and programming basics to young people. The session will be largely unstructured, as the children are encouraged to play freely, take risks, and learn at their own pace.  Code Kids is open to all children ages 8-12. Parents are encouraged to code with their children. Registration is required. Registration for February session opens Jan. 20.
