The Aurora Public Library District maintains select rental spaces for private events occurring outside of regular hours of operation. The library can provide space only and will not be significantly involved in planning the event. The reserving party must be an adult aged 21 years or over and is responsible for all applicable fees and documentation, including applicable city and state licensing and insurance. The reserving party will serve as the authorized representative of the group and is expected to remain on premises throughout the reservation period to ensure that attendees observe the regulations set forth below. All special events will be in accordance with the Special Events Policyand the Alcoholic Beverage Policy (if applicable).
Please note the following rates for special event rentals include security guards and are as follows:
Applications for special events must be submitted at least 30 days before the requested event date and may be filed up to one year in advance. Full payment (100%) is due by the event date. Please note that rental times must include setup and teardown, including delivery and pickup of rental equipment such as furniture and equipment.

A: The library posts leaflets, flyers, and other notices of non-profit groups as designated space allows with formal library approval. The library does not promote events that are not sponsored by the library on our social media or website.
A: During the contracted event times, the reserving group may display temporary signage inside and outside of the library, on library property.

A: Alcohol service is welcome at after-hours events as arranged by the reserving party, as governed by the Alcoholic Beverages Policy, at the discretion of the Executive Director or designee, and with proof of all applicable city and state licensing and insurance.
A: If you are requesting changes, please let library staff know as soon as possible. The library will attempt to accommodate changes to the best of our ability.
A: Reservers are required to leave spaces as they found them. Trash and recycling should be collected and left in designated areas. If rooms are not left in clean and orderly condition, reservation privileges may be suspended.
