Interested in adding a personal touch to your wardrobe? Come learn about fabric types, sewing tools, reading patterns, sewing seams, and more with sewing expert Catherine Suchy! No experience needed.
This program will explore sewing basics as well as some advanced techniques. This class is perfect for beginners who want to learn a new skill or for those looking to improve their existing sewing abilities.
In this class, participants will be introduced to different types of fabrics and tools used in sewing. You will learn how to read patterns, cut fabric, and sew seams. We will also cover hand-sewing techniques and basic machine sewing. Throughout the course, you will be guided by our experienced instructor Catherine Suchy.
No sewing experience is required, and all materials will be provided.
Registration will open at 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 14.

This branch shares the Eola Community Center buiding with the Fox Valley Park District. It offers a quiet reading room with a fireplace, study rooms and a family computer lab. The Eola Road Branch has public meeting rooms that may be used for community programs.
