Interested in volunteering your time? Join us for Service Saturday for Adults! This month, we'll be making port pillows for chemotherapy patients at a local cancer center.
Port pillows are small, soft pillows that people undergoing chemotherapy treatment use to make the area around their port more comfortable! These pillows can be used underneath a seat belt while in a car, or under a bag or purse, too. Using fleece and fabric filling, we'll create comfy no-sew pillows and donate them to a cancer center in our community. All materials will be provided.
This branch shares the Eola Community Center buiding with the Fox Valley Park District. It offers a quiet reading room with a fireplace, study rooms and a family computer lab. The Eola Road Branch has public meeting rooms that may be used for community programs.
