Curious about electric vehicles? The Citizens Utility Board (CUB) will discuss EV technology, carbon emissions, sustainable energy practices, infrastructure, cost comparisons, incentives, and more.
The Citizens Utility Board will share an introduction to electric vehicles (EVs) and discuss their impact on our energy future. This engaging event will cover the benefits of EVs, their role in reducing carbon emissions, and how they align with sustainable energy practices. Participants will gain insights into the latest advancements in EV technology, infrastructure developments, and incentives available for adopting electric vehicles.
We will also explore costs, including electric vs. gas/diesel, incentives, and rebates, and charging and considerations before buying, etc.

This branch shares the Eola Community Center buiding with the Fox Valley Park District. It offers a quiet reading room with a fireplace, study rooms and a family computer lab. The Eola Road Branch has public meeting rooms that may be used for community programs.
