In Honor of Black History Month, we will be reading ‘Hair Love’ by Matthew A. Cherry in StoryWalks® format for the whole month of February.

Explore the world, move your body, and read a story at the same time! StoryWalk® is a fun and innovative way to engage young readers and encourage activities that build early literacy skills like talking, reading, singing, writing, and playing.

StoryWalk® is an engaging, indoor/outdoor reading activity that serves to promote physical activity and literacy for both adults and children! As you stroll down the path in KCC, you will come across a new page of the story 'Hair Love' by Matthew A Cherry. The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
