Eola Road Branch
Build a support system and enjoy meaningful conversation with people who understand your journey in a supportive environment, faciliated by LaVon Lenaway of Dragonfly Senior Navigation Services.
This support group will meet monthly to allow caregivers to make new friends, learn they are not alone in the caregiving journey, find a place to tell their story with people who understand and listen without judgment, and share ideas to make things easier or more enjoyable throughout the days of navigating care. This group is for anyone who cares for or about someone with any kind of memory impairment. All are welcome.
As a group facilitator, LaVon likes to use a mix of warmth, vulnerability, kind honesty about the disease process, audio/visual resources, and humor for more meaningful and memorable conversations.
Owner of Dragonfly Senior Navigation Services, Lavon is a gerontologist, community educator, support group facilitator, certified trainer, and consultant in dementia care.
