Each student in grades 1-8 will choose a real person from history, science, the arts, or culture to research, represent, and deliver a speech about their life. Participant registration required.
Each participant will choose a real person from history, science, the arts, or culture to research and represent. Dressed in costume and standing “frozen” like a wax figure, students will come to life with the press of a pretend button to deliver a short speech about their character’s life and accomplishments. This fun and educational project includes:
On museum day, families and visitors will walk through the library exhibit, meet these "living" wax figures, and learn from the amazing people of the past and present. Prizes will be awarded!
