Learn how to convert your old family photographs to digital format in this hands-on workshop! Bring your family photos and/or photographs of Aurora's downtown and neighborhoods.

Our Genealogy & Community History Librarian will give a short presentation followed by an interactive workshop where participants are invited to scan their family photos. Be sure to bring items to scan, and you'll receive a USB with the digital photos at the end of the program!

Attendees are encouraged to bring their photographs of Aurora's downtown and neighborhoods. You may keep the original and consider donating a digital copy to APLD's Community History Collection!

This program is presented in partnership with the Grand Army of the Republic Military Museum and is Part II in a two-part series. The G.A.R. Museum will host the first part of the series, Family History: Preserving Your Memorabilia, on Wednesday, October 8 at 7 p.m. in the G.A.R. Memorial Hall at 23 E. Downer Place.

Registration will open at 9 a.m. on Monday, September 22.
