The University of Illinois Extension SNAP-Ed Office invites families to a bilingual (English/Spanish) Book Walk in the Children’s Garden featuring The Little Mouse, The Red-Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear by Don and Audrey Wood. As you stroll through the garden, read each page of the story while discovering helpful nutritional tips and joining in fun physical activity challenges. Caregivers and children will learn and play side by side as they move from page to page. In case of inclement weather, the Book Walk will take place inside the Kiwanis Children’s Center.
