What is a Seed Swap? It's like a potluck, but with seeds - great for both avid and aspiring gardeners. Bring seeds to share if you have them and go home with new seeds to try!
They can be seeds you gathered last season or purchased seeds. Heirloom seeds are especially welcome. Our seed swap takes place on January 31, National Seed Swap Day. It gives participants time to start seeds indoors before planting time in the spring. This event also gives you a great chance to talk to other area gardeners, and Master Gardeners from University of Illinois Extension will be here to answer questions and provide expert help.

¿Qué es un intercambio de semillas? Es como una convivio de comida, pero con semillas, es una gran oportunidad tanto para jardineros avanzados como principiantes. ¡Traiga semillas para compartir con otros y lleve a casa nuevas semillas para probar!
Pueden ser semillas de su propio jardin o compradas. Nuestro intercambio de semillas se lleva a cabo el 31 de enero, Día Nacional del Intercambio de Semillas.
