This session outlines the educational journey from early education through college, highlighting key stages: early childhood education, elementary, middle, high school, and college. It emphasizes the importance of parental awareness and involvement at each stage, offering practical tips for parents to support their children’s learning and growth. The presentation will provide insights on how parents can foster a positive educational experience and help their children succeed academically at every level.

About the presenter:

Claudia Aly, Parent Outreach Coordinator at the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), has been at ISAC since December of 2019. ISAC is the college access and financial aid agency in the state of Illinois that administers programs to help pay for college. Before joining ISAC, Claudia worked in healthcare and for many years she volunteered in different organizations assisting the community, specifically worked with Spanish speaking population in the Chicago area and near suburbs. Born and raised in Mexico until the age of 18, first-generation college graduate with a degree in Science and a Minor in Psychology. In her free time, she enjoys painting and spending time with family.
