Soapy Roads Bartlett will provide an introduction to natural soap making, & all participants will be invited to make & pour their own soap! All materials will be provided, and no experience needed.
Whether you're a beginner eager to learn a new craft or a seasoned hobbyist looking to refine your skills, this program offers something for everyone.
Materials used will be all-natural and may include botanicals (plants), clay, for color, and essential oils, for fragrance. *Soapy Roads does not use synthetic colors or fragrances.
Brook and Joe Bingaman are husband and wife maker team, collectively crafting the natural soaps for almost 2 decades. In 2017, they brought their knowledge to form Soapy Roads of Lombard with a promise to make a healthier, handcrafted soap, with nothing synthetic for their family, community and the world. Their specialty organic soaps are made in small batches using the rustic hot process method-- The oldest form of soap making.
Soapy Roads of Lombard is woman-owned and family-operated with licensed and insured instructors. Their materials are plastic-free and involve no animal testing.
Registration will open at 9 a.m. on Monday, February 16.
