Enjoy a bilingual (English/Spanish) Book Walk in the Children's Garden with "My Five Senses", plus nutrition tips and activities.
The University of Illinois Extension SNAP-Ed Office invites families to a bilingual (English/Spanish) Book Walk in the Children’s Garden featuring My Five Senses by Aliki. As you stroll through the garden, read each page of the story while discovering helpful nutritional tips and joining in fun physical activity challenges. Caregivers and children will learn and play side by side as they move from page to page. In case of inclement weather, the Book Walk will take place inside the Kiwanis Children’s Center.
La Oficina de SNAP-Ed de Extensión de la Universidad de Illinois invita a las familias a un Paseo de Libros bilingüe (inglés/español) en el Jardín Infantil, con "Mís Cinco Sentidos", de Aliki. Mientras pasean por el jardín, lean cada página del cuento mientras descubren útiles consejos nutricionales y participan en divertidos retos de actividad física. Los cuidadores y los niños aprenderán y jugarán juntos mientras pasan de una página a otra. En caso de mal tiempo, el Paseo de Libros se realizará dentro del Centro Infantil Kiwanis.
