Do you have a Kane County criminal case that may be eligible for expungement or sealing? Kane County Circuit Clerk Theresa Barreiro and volunteer staff will guide you through filing your request.
Meeting with an attorney/volunteer is free, however, fees may apply to file completed documents. (Fee waiver options are available for those who qualify.) This clinic is open to individuals seeking assistance with Kane County cases only.

*Registration will open at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 21
*Only register the individual with Kane County cases
*After registering, please email the Circuit Clerk’s Office (circuitclerk@co.kane.il.us). Your email must include: Full Name At Time Of Arrest, Date of Birth, and Phone Number. This information is required so the Circuit Clerk's Office may run a Kane County criminal history search for your use at the event.
Check-in time for all registrants is from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Walk-ins after 10 a.m. may not be seen due to limited time and staff.
