Meeting Room 125/126 Combined, ASD Santori Zoom Room

Arts festival director Marissa Amoni will explore a local arts timeline using stories and her own experiences to paint a picture of an active arts scene from Aurora to Elgin.

Learn about over one hundred years of art appreciation throughout the Fox Valley. While one of the most famous artists to come out of Aurora was Ruth Van Sickle Ford, there are many more stories to uncover. Marissa Amoni will take us on a journey from Aurora to Elgin, highlighting local artists and the history of the Fox Valley art scene along the way.

Marissa Amoni has organized the Alley Arts Festival in Aurora for the past 16 years. Alley Arts Festival is a local, grassroots outdoors art festival that has connected artists with each other and with the larger community year after year.

Join us in person at the Santori Library in room 125/126 or virtually via Zoom here. Zoom passcode: Arts1919
