Celebrate World Breastfeeding Week with Naperville Lactation's Margaret Saltysiak, DrPH, IBCLC. We'll have an approachable talk on breastfeeding basics, common myths, and parent and baby health.

In recognition of World Breastfeeding Week and this year’s theme, “Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works,” join Naperville Lactation’s Margaret Saltysiak, DrPH, IBCLC, lactation consultant, public health practitioner, and breastfeeding educator, for an engaging and approachable discussion about how breastfeeding works and why it matters. This high-level presentation will explore the basics of infant feeding, common misconceptions about breastfeeding, and the many ways human milk supports both parent and baby health.

Participants will also learn how breastfeeding connects to larger public health, environmental, and community goals by supporting healthier families and more sustainable systems of care. Whether you are an expecting parent, grandparent, caregiver, healthcare student, or simply curious to learn more, this program offers an informative introduction to one of the earliest and most important relationships in human development.
