CAPE Con: How to Play a Tabletop Roleplaying Game
Saturday, August 29
12:30pm - 2:00pm
Roll for fun! Come learn the basics of how to play TTRPGs with our expert Liz. We will learn about creating characters, safe tables, and what dice to use!
No previous TTRPG experience is necessary for this introductory workshop. This workshop will be "system agnostic," meaning that these basic skills can be used for any TTRPG, including popular titles such as Dungeons & Dragons. All ages are welcome.
This is a hands-on workshop and seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Those who come later are welcome to stay and watch the presentation!

PRESENTER BIOGRAPHY
"Hi! My name is Liz and I've been playing TTRPGs for almost 10 years, running games for almost 7. I have played and run games in many different systems. Some of my favorites include Cypher, D&D, Monster of the Week, and Zweihander, among many others. In my long running campaign, I play a Druid of the Land who wears a dragon mantle and sometimes talks to one. I believe in safe tables where fun is prioritized and players co-write sessions in collaboration with their GM. Do the unexpected thing and try something new! Fate of the world is in your hands!"
