Join Heather Evert, an artist certified by the Japan Temari Association, for a demonstration of an ancient Japanese folk craft.

Temari is the art of making embroidered balls out of yarn or fabric scraps. Originally used to make toys, temari is now largely used for gifts.

About the branch

This branch shares the Eola Community Center buiding with the Fox Valley Park District. It offers a quiet reading room with a fireplace, study rooms and a family computer lab. The Eola Road Branch has public meeting rooms that may be used for community programs.
