Do you have a special recipe for a food product and want to launch a business selling your products? There are a lot of things food entrepreneurs need to know about the food industry before getting started! Sybil Ege, CEO of The Business of Food, will help you understand how to start your business on the right foot and plan a path to run it successfully.

In this workshop, you will learn what you'll need to commercialize your favorite bakery, candy, or other food products while complying with cottage laws, kitchen requirements, and more.

SPEAKER BIO: Sybil Ege
Sybil Ege is the CEO and Co-Founder of The Business of Food, LLC, located in Sycamore, IL. She has extensive experience building businesses. Throughout her corporate career, she grew a company from 12 employees to over 850. She has served as a center director for the Illinois Small Business Development Center and a business coach at the Next Level Northwest business accelerator. Sybil's specialties are business planning, marketing, and franchising, but she mostly loves watching other entrepreneurs bloom into successful business owners.
