The program focuses on breast health and cancer prevention. We will explore key statistics regarding breast cancer, screening guidelines, myths and facts, and what you can do to minimize your risk.
Approximately 1 in 8 women (13%) will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Join us to learn about risk factors, current screening guidelines, and what you can do to reduce your risk.
This program will be presented by Michelle Schlieben, RN, CLC, Community Outreach Nurse with Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital.

This branch shares the Eola Community Center buiding with the Fox Valley Park District. It offers a quiet reading room with a fireplace, study rooms and a family computer lab. The Eola Road Branch has public meeting rooms that may be used for community programs.
