Wonder Clubs

Grades PreK - 5

Join us for Wonder Clubs! In partnership with DuPage Children's Museum and SciTech, Wonder Clubs empower children to explore their curiosity and foster a sense of wonder.

DuPage Children's Museum's out-of-school time programs will spark children's curiosity and open up a world of wonder. DCM is collaborating with SciTech to facilitate hands-on STEAM learning experiences for school-aged children -- fostering a lifelong love of learning. Learning experiences will build on the themes and practices from Andrea Beaty's Questioneers book series. 

• Pre-K-Kindergarten: Tall Towers - When you look up at a tall tower or building do you ever wonder how they were designed and built? Let’s design and create our own tall structure! Book: Up! Up! Up! Skyscraper by Anastasia Suen
• Grades 1-3: Spectacular Slime – Who doesn’t like slime?! Do you know we can create slime through chemistry? Let’s create fluffy slime together! Book: Frankenslime by Joy Keller
• Grades 4-5: Cardboard Construction - Artists are inspired by and use many materials to create artwork. We’ll practice REUSE RECYCLE principles when we construct artwork from cardboard! Book: Cardboard Kingdom by Chad Sell
