Learn the fundamentals of business finance to help you make better, more informed decisions about the future of your business and create a financial forecast for your business plan.

Knowing how to read and understand your business's financial statements is critical for ensuring your business's success. Keeping your eye on your business financials will give you insight into how your business is performing, prepare you for unexpected problems, and plan for growth and profitability.

Harriet Parker, Manager of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Waubonsee, will discuss how to manage your finances, develop financial forecasts to evaluate business opportunities and take the next steps towards finalizing or updating your business plan!

You will take away a financial forecasting template that you can use to create your own business forecast.
