Learn about MCIP's 8-week paid manufacturing internship program that helps young adults, 18-24 from low to moderate income families, get set on a career path for success.

A Business and Career Services representative will discuss their work readiness training program for young adults, ages 18-24, that prepares them for careers in manufacturing. Join us to learn more about the program and understand the eligibility requirements.
 
MCIP (The Manufacturing Careers Internship Program) is an 8-week paid internship in manufacturing for qualified young adults ages 18-24. It includes a work readiness training that includes resume writing, interviewing skills, employee rights, financial literacy, career exploration and more. A career advisor that will work with participants throughout the program. We provide work boots, transportation reimbursement, and other services needed to start your internship
 
After completing the 8 weeks, participants could be directly hired by an employer or receive scholarship funds to help with certifications and additional training for individuals that qualify.

This program is available at no cost to participants and is funded by grants through the U.S. Department of Labor and distributed by the Kane County Office of Community Reinvestment.

This information session is open to the public- please register in advance. Registration is preferred, and walk-ins are welcome!
