This first Friday, we're celebrating the full moon! Join us to listen to the Voyager Golden Record, chat with astronomers, send a postcard to space, try an out-of-this-world snack, and more!

6 - 8 p.m.

  • Postcards to Space: Decorate and/or draw a picture on a postcard. Then, we'll send the postcards to Blue Origin's Club for the Future, and they'll launch them into space on a New Shepard rocket! Postcards will be returned stamped 'Flown to Space'. 

  • Ask An Astronomer: Got questions? Ask the members of the Fox Valley Astronomical Society about the moon, their club, and more!

  • Out-of-this-World Snack, while supplies last

  • Greenscreen Photo Op: Have your picture taken in front of our greenscreen, and we'll add an out-of-this-world background!
