Is there a connection between Dementia and hearing loss? Find out at this presentation by Dr. Lisa Gumina. We'll also explore the consequences of hearing loss on seniors and coping strategies.

In this program, we'll review the natural decline of function in hearing as we age, investigate the consequences of hearing loss on the aged population, gain a fuller understanding of hearing loss, and learn strategies to cope.

Dr. Gumina is Dementia Certified and holds a certificate in communication, activities of daily living, end of life support, combative behaviors, and understanding the brain.

This branch shares the Eola Community Center buiding with the Fox Valley Park District. It offers a quiet reading room with a fireplace, study rooms and a family computer lab. The Eola Road Branch has public meeting rooms that may be used for community programs.
