Eola Road Branch
New to crochet?! Join this group of beginners to learn more about the art of crochet, including basic stitches, techniques, and patterns, and make your very own rope chain scarf!
This program will be led by Catherine Suchy, a retired professor and librarian from Joliet Junior College and Joliet Public Library. She recently took up crochet (after 40 years of not), and she is simply overjoyed with the artistry that yarn can achieve. As a former educator, Catherine mixed these elements together and has been teaching crochet for a number of years. This program provides guidance and support and encourages creativity and self-expression through the medium of crochet.
All materials will be provided, and no experience is necessary.
*Registration will open at 9 a.m. on September 2.
