This exhibit includes acrylic and oil paintings showcasing the majesty and serene beauty of nature as well as a group of colored pencil sketches that feature emotions portrayed through the human eye.

Artist Biography:

Aurora artist Kripa Ramdas is renowned for her realism and expressionism in works of art that convey subtleties. Her works are created in a variety of styles, including realism and abstract, and all emanate vibrant color. Ramdas believes this is because she is from an environment where brilliant colors are a way of life!

Ramdas is a self-taught artist and credits her high school art teacher for helping to refine her natural abilities. A travel enthusiast, she draws inspiration for her paintings from the natural world, colors, and locations visited. Her artworks are an effort to encourage people to travel and appreciate the beauty of their surroundings.
