Are you trying to increase your earnings, invest, create a budget, and/or plan financially for your future? Celebrate Financial Planning Month at APLD with this special Financial Fitness program series. This 3-part, collaborative series of virtual programs is presented by BIG (Business Interest Group). BIG is a group of business librarians in the Chicago suburbs. Although each presentation is virtual, we will also hold in-person watch parties at APLD. In-person attendees do NOT need to register. Virtual attendees should register to receive the Zoom registration link.

In Part I, Financial educator Karen Chan will make stocks, bonds and mutual funds crystal clear using the story of a young company called Freddie's Finest Furniture. You'll learn how to put that information into use as she explains index funds and target retirement funds, and how they can simplify your investing decisions.
