Join the Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.) Military Museum's curator, Eric Pry, to explore the history of one of Aurora’s most influential veterans societies and discover why the G.A.R. building is important to our community’s history and identity.

The Grand Army of the Republic Military Museum, located in Aurora, Illinois, collects, preserves, interprets and honors the history of the wartime and subsequent peacetime experience of the community and its veterans throughout the history of the United States. Visit the museum at 23 E. Downer Place Wednesdays through Fridays (12 -4 p.m.) and Saturdays (10 a.m. - 3 p.m.).
