From the city's first settler to the White House's 44th occupant, Chicago is teeming with incredible stories of African American history. Celebrate Juneteenth with local historian Clarence Goodman.

Clarence Goodman is a historian and musician who performs, teaches, and leads tours in the Windy City and beyond. This program will be available both in person and virtually via Zoom. Please register to receive the Zoom link.

About the branch

This branch shares the Eola Community Center buiding with the Fox Valley Park District. It offers a quiet reading room with a fireplace, study rooms and a family computer lab. The Eola Road Branch has public meeting rooms that may be used for community programs.
