El artista latino Juan Sepúlveda nos hablará sobre su arte y nos enseñará a dibujar con carboncillo. Latino artist Juan Sepúlveda will talk about his art and teach us how to draw with charcoal.

Juan F. Sepúlveda II nació en 1986 en la ciudad de Ocotlán, México. A la edad de tres años su familia había emigrado a los Estados Unidos donde residieron en San Fernando, California. Posteriormente la familia Sepúlveda se mudó a Illinois donde se establecieron en la ciudad de Aurora. Es en Aurora donde Juan creció y descubrió su amor por las artes. Juan es graduado de The Savannah College of Art and Design con una licenciatura en Bellas Artes en pintura.

Juan nos guiará en la creación de dibujos expresivos en carboncillo y técnicas para dominar este divertido medio.

Juan F. Sepúlveda II was born in 1986 in the town of Ocotlán, Mexico. By the age of three his family had immigrated to the United States where they resided in San Fernando, California. The Sepúlveda family later moved to Illinois where they settled in the town of Aurora. It is in Aurora where Juan grew up and discovered his love for the arts. Juan is a graduate of The Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting.

Juan will guide us in creating expressive charcoal drawings and techniques to master this fun medium.

Bilingual program. For teens and adults 15+. Registration will open at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17.
