The colorful "kolam" is a symbol of an open heart and an auspicious welcome and thought to bring prosperity to homes. These designs are traditionally drawn on the ground in front of homes in Southern India using rice flour. Inspired by this, we'll learn and practice the art form by drawing on a plank of wood and painting them.
No experience is necessary. All materials will be provided.
Registration will open at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 16.
